Can't close your account. I have tried closing my credit card account with Barclays Bank. My account was only accessible via my website, but I was unable to access it. My userid and password did not work and I was locked out. I contacted Barclays customer service by phone. They said they would send me a code to verify my identity and reset my password but the code never arrived by text or email. I contacted them many times to ask for help, but they did not help.
