Threatened to sue you for very old debt. XXXX XXXX XXXX started Threatening to do a civil suit against me for a debt from XX/XX/XXXX, the original amount was about XXXX , saying I will be sued for XXXX $ Plus attorney fees. If I pay today I will only pay XXXX XXXX Saying I will be sent to court. I explained that I dont remember this card and was willing to pay original amount but was told that is not an option. I need to say yes or no to the amount they offer or I will be going to court and be sued by JCpennys. Was told I fell off collections but the reserve the right to sue me for the money. Never remember these fee. Called JCpennys and talk to collection/account services department and was told this account was paid off and closed. Doesn't show that was sent to outside collections. I ne
