Checking or savings account — ALLY FINANCIAL INC. (TX)

Deposits and withdrawals. I bank with Ally ( an online bank ). I made a {$500.00} deposit on XX/XX/XXXX. The check was written from a XXXX XXXX account. It was an electronic deposit. I have made many over the course of 3 years. The process has always been a portion of the funds are available the next day, the balance in 2 days. For this deposit, I was told by Ally that they had " confidential information that indicates the check may not be paid. '' I have never deposited a check that wasn't paid. I want to know what confidential information they have. The funds from the XXXX XXXX account were withdrawn on XX/XX/XXXX. The hold on my checking account is until XX/XX/XXXX. This does not make sense to me and I feel targeted.
