Didn't receive enough information to verify debt. I have been disputing this account for some time now with CREDIT MANAGEMENT CONTROL. I sent an initial dispute letter asking for verification of this account because I am not familiar with this account and they have not responded. Are they legally able to collect on the debt? How did they calculate the amount they claim I owe? How do they know I am the owner of the debt? Im curious because I have never done business with them or the original creditor. My letter was delivered on XX/XX/XXXX, and here is the tracking number XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I was under the impression that if they didn't respond it would automatically deleted from my credit reports. Silence is being in agreeance. I am sure there is a law that proves it.
