Deposits and withdrawals. In XX/XX/XXXX, I opened a new checking acct at Chase Bank located at XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX, CA. On XX/XX/XXXX, I made two check deposits via mobile app to my Chase checking account. One was a cashiers check in the amt of {$2300.00} from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and the other was a personal check from XXXX XXXX in the amt of {$1200.00}. A few days later, I noticed a message on my Chase checking acct indicating these funds would not be available until XX/XX/XXXX. I called the Chase branch at XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX to inquire about the unusual delay in accessing my funds. The teller by the name of XXXX saw that my checking account was marked as 'restricted ' but was unclear as to why this was happening. I've since made several calls to the XXX
