Was not notified of investigation status or results. After an investigation, Equifax deleted a bankruptcy that was being reported in my Equifax credit report. Equifax reinserted the deleted bankruptcy & never notified me in writing as required by 15 U.S.C. 8 16811- U.S. Code. Unfortunately, I found out that it was reinserted when I was denied credit as a result. Additionally, I've contacted the 3rd party vendor XXXX that Equifax says they obtained the information from & XXXX verified they do not have a record of bankruptcy on file for me. I've attached a copy of the report with the bankruptcy being reported as of XX/XX/XXXX I've also attached a copy of my report as of XX/XX/XXXX with no bankruptcy reported It is now being reported & there was no notification of the reinsertion.
