For years I, as a client of Citi, could log into my online account and check an incoming international wire transfer, where I could see the incoming amount in the foreign currency and the sender. Since XXXX, Citi has cancelled this functionality. I did not contact the bank in XXXX. This year, XXXX, the same happened. When I called the bank, an agent said : " Your account shows the incoming international transfer as X USD. On that date, the exchange rate from finance.google.com is Y. So, the incoming transfer in the foreign currency should be X times Y. '' I said : " No. I need to know the amount in the foreign currency as transferred so that I can judge if Citi used an improper exchange rate or misreported the incoming amount.
