Reporting company used your report improperly. Just like what happend with XXXX ( complaint XXXX ), when I checked my Equifax account on XX/XX/XXXX, I found that someone - the same person that perpetrated the fraud at XXXX - had used the same technique to get access to my credit report account at Equifax. All they had to do was register for a new account and then used my basic information, and it ripped my account from me and handed the account over to the fraudster without having to use my password. This type of unauthorized use of a person 's credit account is quite easy through both XXXX and Equifax 's website and the onus is on the person being impacted by the illegal activity to keep track of their account and NOT have XXXXEquifax hand it over to a fraudster.
