How are they claiming I owe them a debt? They failed to send me proof that this account belongs to me along with the name, and address. Another account under the same company PORTFOLIO RECOVERY ASSOCIATES Original Creditor XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX Date Opened XX/XX/2021 I was never notified of this alleged debt. Under the CFPBs new Debt Collection Rule that become effective XX/XX/2021, this collection agency is illegally reporting an unsubstantiated debt and never provided proper notice before reporting.
