Problem during payment process. On XX/XX/XXXX I went to Macy 's Department Store in XXXX XXXX, FL to pay off my account. I had a bank draft check in the total amount of the statement which was {$5200.00}, dated XX/XX/XXXX, check # XXXX. This is a Macy 's XXXX XXXX card so the check was made out to XXXX XXXXCitibank XXXX The Macy 's clerk swiped my Macy 's credit card to open my account and processed the check. I believed everything to be just fine and paid off. On XX/XX/XXXX I checked my account online and the balance was still showing -- the payment had not been applied. I called the bank and they told me the check was cleared on XX/XX/XXXX. I asked for a copy of the front & back of the check, which they sent to me.
