Debt is not yours. I am having an issue with a mysterious, old debt related to my XXXX XXXX account that I closed in XX/XX/. It was closed with XXXX debt. I have emails from XXXX stating that my account balance is XXXX dollars. I have emails documenting my account activity. I paid my bill using autopay from my debit card. XXXX had my card on file. In XXXX of this year I received an email from XXXX stating that I have an outstanding balance of {$44.00}. Apparently they were collecting for Jefferson Capital, who was collecting for XXXX XXXX. I asked for details, explaining the whole thing in detail. I am attaching a printout of my email communication with XXXX. They acknowledge that they don't have a record for me and told me they will cease collection activity on my account ( please ref
