Card opened as result of identity theft or fraud. On XX/XX/23 I received an alert from multiple credit monitoring services I have informing me a credit pull was requested by capital one bank on behalf of a credit application completed. I never applied for a credit card recently with capital one bank. The entry on my credit reports say its for bass pro credit card. I have not applied for any card with that store or with capital one in the last year. I reached out to capital one and they informed me they cant find the application tied to me info but to report it to ftc and the credit bureaus.
