Problem during payment process. I received a billing statement with a balance of {$1700.00} that reported that I needed to submit payment before the payment due date of XX/XX/XXXX. I sent payment in full for {$1700.00} in a legal tender payment form via mail on XX/XX/XXXX. I called Capital One and they confirmed that they received my mailed-in payment on XX/XX/XXXX and would process payment accordingly. On XX/XX/XXXX I checked to see if the account balance was updated but I realized that they did not apply my payment to my account.
