Debt collection — KLS Financial Services, Inc (CT)

Didn't receive notice of right to dispute. At XXXX, I was contacted by KLS Financial Services at XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX from XXXX XXXX NC about my debt for backrent with XXXX XXXX. I was at work and ran outside to try and speak with them. I explained to the lady on the phone, an agreement I made with Landlords that we would settle upon them withdrawing my eviction case and we would come to an agreement to repay back rent. We came to a stipulated agreement that I would not be evicted but would leave by a specific date, and they would in turn withdraw the case and I would come to an agreement outside of debt collection with them to payback rent. They never withdrew and I was contacted by this debt collector. The collector said I had to make an agreement with them, for $ XXXX for 12 months. I
