Attempted to collect wrong amount. The company is One Main Financial a sub prime lender of personal loans to customers who don't qualify at XXXX or XXXX. I reported that my District manager told me to ignore written company policies on contacting customers. XXXX XXXX told me to use the wrong call status code for customers who hung up on me. XXXX told me to use " no answer '' instead of " Call dropped ''. The difference is simple. With call dropped code you can not call the customer again as a Right XXXX contact is logged. By entering no answer we continue to call a customer who obviously didn't want to talk to us I reported this and other violations to XXXX XXXX XXXX weeks ago. Today I was terminated for absenteeism.
