Credit card company won't increase or decrease your credit limit. I have been a AMEX customer since 2013, and they provide cards for myself and both of my businesses and a line for credit for one of them. In all of this time I have never missed a single payment, paying off the full balance due each month. Out of the blue on XX/XX/XXXX AMEX sent me demanding I pay {$3600.00} that was not due to them for another month or else they would further reduce my credit limit. My account is on autopay and it draws on XX/XX/XXXX, wherein I paid the {$15000.00} full balance that was due, and assumed that the {$3600.00} was satisfied by this payment. Turns out I was wrong, and it was an attempt to extort money out of me before it came due. I guess AMEX found a way to get around the 25 day grace
