Funds not handled or disbursed as instructed. XXXX of XXXX I had an issue with a vendor over charging for services. I reached out to my banking institution, which is SoFi Bank. I explained my concern and they reassured me on XXXX separate calls that the vendor would not be able to deduct any more from my account, not to worry, my money was safe. I also submitted a dispute to retain overcharged funds that had already been deducted. They denied the dispute, I still dont know why or how they came up with the denial decision, its clear that I was overcharged by the vendor. SoFi will not tell me how they decide whether to refund a dispute to the customer. They recently began overdraft protection service for consumers.
