Debt collection — SYNCHRONY FINANCIAL (TX)

Debt is not yours. I had received a CareCredit/Snychrony Bank amount of {$3800.00} on XX/XX/XXXX to cover dental implants. The amount was to be repaid by XX/XX/XXXX interest free, unless not paid by then in which an interest charge on the full amount would be charged. I had been paying $ 300 monthly regularly, but unfortunately I missed paying my last installment of {$300.00} until XX/XX/XXXX, or 6 days late,. I was immediately charged the total late payment interest of {$48000.00}. This struck me as a very unfair trap for an honest mistake., I offered to pay the XXXX interest charge of {$18.00} plus the XXXX fee of {$30.00} but this was denied.
