Credit inquiries on your report that you don't recognize. I am writing to formally dispute several unauthorized hard inquiries that have appeared on my credit report. I did not authorize these inquiries, and they are negatively impacting my credit score and overall financial health. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), specifically 15 U.S.C. 1681b ( c ), a credit reporting agency may only include hard inquiries on a consumer report if they were made for a permissible purpose, such as an application for credit init
