Account information incorrect. I am writing to formally dispute the inaccurate and redundant reporting of a XXXX XXXX account ( account number XXXX ) on my credit report. This account is being reported twice : once as a closed credit card account and again as a collection account from XXXX, with a completely different amount. The presence of these two entries is redundant and misleading, and it is adversely affecting my credit score. I request that both entries be investigated and removed from my credit report immediately. In addition, I do not owe any funds to a XXXX XXXX XXXX and have received no correspondence with proof of a debt from them. This Collection should be removed immediately as should the XXXX account. It is illegal for the same debt to report twice on my credit report.
