Didn't receive enough information to verify debt. I received a call asking me to pay a couple XXXX dollars for cleaning services about 2-3 months after I moved out of an apartment. I called the apartment to verify this as we had cleared all fees and there was no cleaning fee. I told the debt collection company this and asked to provide proof but I never heard back. Hence, I assumed it was a scam. Then, I start receiving calls about 5-6 months later mentioning I owe back rent for the same apartment in the balance of {$290.00}. I thought it was a scam because I left the property early and paid them 2 months extra rent due to my contract. Everything was settled and there is proof of this if we go ask the apartments. I asked this debt collector to send an official letter at home with proof
